Publish to Instagram from Viral Garden

1. Make a post of 1 to 10 slides in the Playground. One slide goes out as a photo post, more as a carousel. Reels and Stories aren't supported.
2. Connect your Instagram Business or Creator account on your project's Accounts tab (Add account → Instagram). Instagram asks for your permission on its own screen, and shows you exactly what is requested. You sign in with Instagram itself, so no Facebook Page is needed.
3. Post by hand: in the carousel's ⋮ menu choose Direct Post and your Instagram account, write a caption and publish. Each slide is fitted to one shape Instagram accepts (the first slide's, kept between 4:5 portrait and 1.91:1 landscape) over a blurred copy of itself, so nothing is cropped. The post lands on your account, and we link you to it when Instagram returns the link.
4. Or post on a schedule: choose Schedule Post in the same menu, or create an automation on the Automations tab and pick your Instagram account. It publishes at the times you choose.

• instagram_business_basic — the account ID, username, name and profile picture, to show which account is connected and to check the connection. The account type is checked at connection, to confirm the account is professional, and is not stored.
• instagram_business_content_publish — to publish the photo and carousel posts you create.

• Read your messages, comments, insights, followers or your other posts
• Like, comment or follow on your behalf
• Edit or delete posts
• Publish anything you didn't ask for — every post is one you published, or one you scheduled with Schedule Post or an automation
• Sell your Instagram data, or share it with anyone other than the providers that run the service

Removing an Instagram account in Viral Garden deletes its Instagram access token and account details from Viral Garden right away. Posts already on Instagram stay there. To also remove Viral Garden's access on Instagram's side, open Instagram's settings, then Apps and websites, and remove Viral Garden.

Access tokens are encrypted before they are stored and are never sent to your browser. Slide images are placed at a temporary web address for Instagram to download, and are deleted automatically within a few hours. Instagram publishing is included on every paid plan. TikTok accounts, YouTube channels and Instagram accounts share the plan's account allowance; the Free plan can't connect one. Publishing a post you made yourself costs no credits. Anyone can create a Viral Garden account and pick a plan.
